1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, school, grade level, subject area) and usage data (features used, plans generated, session duration).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the service, personalize your experience, communicate with you about your account, and generate anonymized analytics.

3. AI-Generated Content & Data Processing

Your inputs (curriculum selections, preferences) are sent to AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) to generate plans. We do not send personally identifiable student information to AI providers.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) and hosted on Vercel. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is controlled through row-level security policies.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Anthropic (AI generation), OpenAI (fallback AI), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting). Each provider has their own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

6. Children's Privacy

TeacherPro is designed for educators, not students. Teachers may input curriculum-related data but should not enter personally identifiable student information. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also request a copy of your data in a portable format.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
